We’ll be getting married at Holmewood Hall, a beautiful Tudor Gothic-style country house set in the Cambridgeshire countryside. The house sits within around 10 acres of gardens and parkland, with loads of character inside and out, from the grand entrance and period rooms to the lake and grounds.
One of the things we loved most about Holmewood Hall is that the whole place feels like it becomes ours for the day. We have exclusive use of the house and grounds, so everything from the ceremony and drinks to the wedding breakfast and evening reception all happens in one place, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, celebrate and properly settle in for the day.
Holmewood Hall is located in the village of Holme, just outside Peterborough.
There is complimentary parking available at the venue, so driving is a straightforward option for anyone travelling by car.

The venue is roughly 8 miles from the station, with the onward journey taking around 15 to 20 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
Peterborough is served by trains to and from London King’s Cross, as well as other destinations on the East Coast Main Line. We recommend checking your journey closer to the wedding in case of timetable changes or planned engineering works.
If you’re arriving by train, we’d recommend arranging a taxi from the station rather than trying to continue by public transport.

Uber is also available in Peterborough and can be used for journeys to and from the venue. Because Holmewood Hall is in a village location, we’d still recommend pre-booking or arranging your return journey rather than relying on a car being immediately available late at night.
